Rafael Nadal beat Diego Schwartzman in the US Open quarterfinals in straight sets in a match that was far more entertaining than the final score would suggest.
Schwartzman erased 4-0 and 5-1 deficits in the first two sets before running out of steam in the third.
But while Nadal moved one step closer to his 19th Grand Slam title and fourth at the US Open, it was Schwartzman who caused the crowd to erupt with the point of the tournament.
Schwartzman seemingly came out of nowhere several times to win the point. The crowd erupted, and all Nadal could do was bow his head and applaud the play.
