Tekashi 6ix9ine Asks Fans What The Name Of His Next Song Should Be

Whether you like Tekashi 6ix9ine or not, one thing is for sure, and that’s that he’s a great social media marketer. Following his release from prison to home confinement, Tekashi 6ix9ine, AKA Daniel Hernandez, dropped a brand new record-breaking song and also engaged in verbal spats with other big-named artists in the industry.

There’s no question Hernandez knows how to garner social media buzz and media headlines. Earlier this week, he used his talents once again to drum up ideas for a new song title. Hot New Hip Hop picked up on a post from 6ix9ine in which he asked for help.

The artist is hoping to put some of the power back into his fans’ hands by allowing them to choose a name. Tekashi 6ix9ine wanted to drop a brand new single after “GOOBA,” yesterday, but he decided against it and will instead, release it one week from now.

Reportedly, 6ix9ine said to his fans online that he didn’t even come up with a title for it yet, despite his claims earlier that he was going to release a new track. On the 23rd of May, Saturday, 6ix9ine said that whatever title got the most likes would become the new track name.

Thus far, Hot New Hip Hop reported, Hernandez’s own comment, “Trollz?” looks like it’s going to be the most popular one of all. However, if he did choose that title, it would defeat the purpose of asking fans in the first place.

A few other comments joked that he should come up with a song like “The Snitcha,” or “SNITCH9ine.” While the names are obviously derogatory, it’s possible the young artist may be able to make it work.

Near the beginning of the month, fans thought the new song would be called “TACO,” and also feature Nicki Minaj. However, it’s unclear if Minaj will be working with him again in the future after he was released from prison.

As it was previously reported, 6ix9ine acted as a federal informant to convict and then incarcerate his former associates in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
